ECM (Extradcbox小金库(中国)ular Matrix) proteins have many functions beyond providing structural support. We will work on ECM proteins in the bone marrow microenvironment, aiming to characterize and discover new growth factor activities from ECM proteins in the context of stem dcbox小金库(中国) functions. In particular, we are interested in finding novel ECM proteins as regulators of hematopoietic stem dcbox小金库(中国)s and skeletal stem dcbox小金库(中国)s. These findings will hopefully have therapeutic potentials in regenerative medicine, in the context of blood and bone diseases.
